Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, you will serve as the primary customer advocate and team leader, ensuring seamless execution from contract signature through installation, billing activation, and customer handoff. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and consistently deliver projects on time and to standard.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Own the full-service delivery lifecycle from order acceptance through billing activation across multiple sales channels.
• Manage and resolve first-level and second-level escalations across direct enterprise, carrier/wholesale, partner, and government accounts.
• Provide proactive, transparent communication with customers, sales teams, and internal leadership.
• Serve as the trusted partner for customers throughout implementation.
• Deliver executive-level customer readouts and internal leadership updates on project health, risks, and timelines.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, managing scope, risks, timelines, and resources.
• Partner with engineering, provisioning, construction, operations, and sales teams to ensure coordinated execution.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with SLAs and contractual obligations.
• Deliver standardized reporting across sales channels, tracking order progress, escalations, and delivery KPIs.
• Champion process improvements and best practices to optimize efficiency and customer experience.
• Document lessons learned and shared knowledge across the Service Delivery team.
• Conduct quality reviews of project plans, deliverables and documentation prepared by junior project managers to ensure adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
• All other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of progressive project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role within telecommunications.
• Proven success managing enterprise-level telecom solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with experience delivering executive-level reporting.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira)., MS Project, Jira).
• Willingness to work as a team and independently.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with telecom OSS/BSS order management systems (e.g., Metasolv, QManager, Pega, Salesforce).
• Familiarity with fiber-optic infrastructure, IP networking, and telecom transport technologies.
• ITIL, Agile, or other process improvement certifications.
• Experience managing projects across multiple sales channels.
