Engagement Manager – Power Platform
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to lead a large-scale workflow migration project, moving approximately 3,000 workflows from Nintex on-premises to the Microsoft Power Platform. This role will be at the center of client engagement, leading cross-functional teams—including Solution Designers, Business Analysts, and technical specialists—to deliver solutions that meet functional, technical, and performance expectations. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic consulting environment, excels at translating business needs into actionable solutions, and builds trusted relationships with clients at all levels.
Location: This role is fully remote for someone based in the US, but the successful candidate must be able to support our client working in Eastern Time Zone.
Key Responsibilites
- Lead day-to-day execution of client projects, guiding and mentoring team members.
- Own client project work: gather and analyze information, develop hypotheses, and present recommendations to client management.
- Lead implementation of solutions in collaboration with client teams.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor who understands their objectives, processes, and challenges.
- Simplify complex, ambiguous problems and focus on high-impact solutions.
- Identify and develop further opportunities within the client environment.
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison between clients and internal teams, communicating effectively with all audiences, including senior leadership.
- Define and oversee work packages, ensuring alignment with program success criteria.
- Translate gaps or risks into actionable insights, proactively suggesting improvements or new solutions.
- Monitor engagement progress alongside the project manager and maintain program roadmaps.
- Advocate for the customer internally, providing insights to improve products, services, and processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 5+ years of consulting experience, preferably in a professional services firm or Big 4 environment.
- Skilled at translating business problems into strong technology-enabled solutions.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to create an inclusive environment at all organizational levels.
- Proactive, opportunity-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple engagements in ambiguous, evolving client environments.
- Experienced in business consulting, analysis, Agile methodology, and project management.
Key Attributes
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) and Microsoft 365 integration points.
- Experience with Nintex workflows or similar workflow systems.
- Familiarity with Azure automation and integration components (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus).
- Knowledge of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices in Power Platform.
- Experience in large-scale workflow or business process migration programs.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and validation approaches for low-code applications.
- Business Analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile framework.
