Shift: 5:00pm-5:30am Alternative Schedule, 3-4-4-3
Department: Maintenance
Salary Range: $28.00-$39.25
Summary of Accountabilities:
- Apply industrial maintenance skills and knowledge to install, operate, maintain, and repair plant utility systems and equipment.
- Monitor and record system performance, and make adjustments to assure the safe and efficient operation of plant utility systems and equipment.
- Initiate and perform condition monitoring tasks including preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures to ascertain possible failure modes and participate with operations, plant engineering, suppliers, and other associates to improve equipment reliability.
- Utilize the company’s Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and supports its use as a key management information tool.
- Recommend, develop, and implement system modifications to improve equipment operations and provide for attainment of plant and department goals.
- Provide direction and training for less skilled maintenance personnel and machine operators.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to Pass Garden City Ammonia Level 1 and CARO Certification
- Ability to Pass Garden City Ammonia Level 2 and CIRO Certification
- Ability to Pass Garden City Boiler Level 1
- 2 Year Technical Degree or 4 Years of Industrial Maintenance Experience.
- 2 years of industrial refrigeration experience.
- Ability to work with a computerized maintenance management system to identify parts, write work orders, order parts, and collect specific relevant data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with complex electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to climb a ladder and work safely in high places.
- Ability to lift and move heavy (+75 Lbs) objects.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and systems.
- Candidate must be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Able to work in a variety of environments (hot and cold) with his/her body contorted in many positions.
