The role you will contribute:

Partners with the CPO to lead and execute critical projects and stakeholder touchpoints, ranging from financial planning and tracking to high-level reporting for boards, committees, and executive audiences. Serves as an active business partner with the team of executives reporting to the CPO in the execution of the CPO’s agenda and strategy and leadership of departments and initiatives. Manages executive agendas and calendars by coordinating with senior leaders to prioritize strategic topics, align meetings with project timelines, and ensure timely follow-up on key action items. Identifies and responds to issues and risks, owns and provides expedient follow-through to action or resolution as applicable, communicating accordingly and appropriately. Manages correspondence dealing with issues and subject matter in ways that often require considerable sensitivity, discretion, judgment, or negotiation in replying to inquiries. Represents the CPO in select meetings, capturing insights and action items, and briefing the CPO as needed to support informed decision-making. Develops communication and engagement strategies to support the CPO’s oversight of the executive team and downline, serving as a conduit of information and communication from the office of the CPO. Partners with senior leaders to shape proposals in alignment with HR strategic priorities, operating model standards, and enterprise goals for review by the CPO. Manages the CPO’s internal and external professional brand by securing and preparing for speaking engagements, curating presence across professional and social platforms, and positioning the CPO as a thought leader within the organization, industry, and broader community. Functions as an advisor by remaining abreast of organizational vision, aspirations, and initiatives in addition to research on national trends in relevant markets. Other duties as assigned.

The value you will bring to the team:

Serves as a strategic extension of the Chief People Officer, responsible for leading the execution of cross-functional programs and high-impact initiatives aligned with the People and Culture vision. This role organizes and prioritizes critical issues and synthesizes key information to enable timely, informed decision-making by the executive. It also oversees all administrative, financial, and operational activities on behalf of the Chief People Officer and acts as a primary point of contact and facilitator with senior leadership and internal and external stakeholders. While supporting projects within the People and Culture portfolio, the role also contributes to broader enterprise initiatives, including market and volume growth strategies, financial optimization efforts, large-scale transformations, and other system-level priorities. Functioning as "chief of staff" to the Chief People Officer, the position ensures strategic alignment across initiatives, advancing the organization’s vision, project objectives, value propositions, and resource needs.


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Excellent judgment and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of executives, employees, and other contacts, while appropriately and discreetly handling confidential information

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to understand and articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff in the organization

• Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Suite, with expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and proficiency in Visio, Mind Maps, and databases

• Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals

• Ability to create and drive strategy and direction

• Ability to build rapport and work with all levels of team and leadership

• Knowledge of change management and/or organizational behavior theory/experience

• Strong understanding and knowledge of the general principles and practices as it pertains to the healthcare industry

• Knowledge of the software programs that are needed to be effective

• Working knowledge of performance improvement methodologies as determined by the organization

• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and synthesize complex insights

• Utilize strategic frameworks and key insights to logically and concisely present information

• Support senior leadership with analyses and recommendations, demonstrating proven influence management experience

• Conduct primary and secondary research and analysis, developing financial and operational predictive models

• Work independently to oversee multiple projects, effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly engage with stakeholders across the organization

• Express clear points of view and conclusions through various mediums such as presentations, white papers, and slide presentations

• Design and structure projects and project teams, developing pragmatic, executable strategies and implementation plans

• Take full accountability for successful project delivery with a demonstrated business impact

• Demonstrate overall intellectual curiosity to identify opportunities and solve problems with a strong attention to detail

• Excellent project management skills, comfort with ambiguity, and demonstrated background in strategic analysis and planning

• Lead projects efficiently, organizing and managing multiple priorities, establishing meaningful goals, and meeting all commitments on a timely basis

• Ability to coordinate and evaluate a variety of programs, making professional recommendations on strategy development concerning matters of major importance Education:

• Bachelor's  degree [Required]

• Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing

• 5+ of experience in a leadership role [Required]

• 7+ of experience in functional area. [Required]

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree [Preferred]

• Experience in leading organizational change [Preferred]
