Responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of nursing education programs. Develops, coordinates, and facilitates educational programs presented to other hospital staff, physicians, patients, volunteers and/or the community. Functions as an educational resource and provides individual guidance for education as necessary. Participates as an educational liaison on hospital committees. National certification in Nursing or Healthcare related specialty preferred.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing. Required
Master's Degree Nursing, other health related field or Adult Education Required
Experience
3 years experience in a Clinical Setting Required
2 years experience in a teaching position Preferred
Licenses
PA Registered Nurse License Required
Basic Life Support Required
ACLS Instructor Status Preferred or
BLS Instructor Status Preferred
Mon to Fri 8 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility to meet with all shifts for educational purposes and needs.
