AUI is looking to add a mid-to-advanced level fabricator to the team.
Join Our Fabrication Team
Become part of a skilled group of fabricators and welders dedicated to excellence in every project. From utility structure fabrication—both in the shop and in the field, on the ground and in the air—to custom truck and equipment builds, you’ll work with top-tier tooling and industry best practices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fabrication and welding of mild steel, aluminum and stainless in all processes MIG, Stick and TIG
Oxy/Acetylene and Plasma arc cutting
Punching, Shearing, grinding, cutting and machining of metals
Accurately troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly
Assemble, repair and rebuild custom-made equipment used primarily in the utility industry
Heavy structural steel fabrication
Up-fitting of trucks and equipment
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Full-time position - Monday-Friday from 7am-5pm
Minimum Requirements:
Great attitude
High School Diploma or GED
Require valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 150 days
Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and procedures
Must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen
Willing to work holidays and weekends and storm events as needed.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Must be comfortable working at heights.
Must possess your own tools.
Work 40+ hours per week.
Strong mechanical and mathematical skills
D1.1 SMAW 3g/4g certifications preferred or must be proficient in all positions.
Strong ability to analyze information and present ideas and information accurately and concisely
Ability to comprehend and read blueprints
Self-motivated and strong organizational skills
Quality-focused and results-driven
Must follow company guidelines regarding acceptable conduct-projecting an image of quality and professionalism at all time
Must be able to work efficiently and safely, whether under supervision or not
