The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the organization's financial data through effective accounting practices, system management, and reporting excellence. This role establishes and maintains assigned accounting systems, assesses performance, and recommends process or system enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include preparing timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), supporting monthly and annual close processes, and providing insights that strengthen financial decision-making and compliance. The Senior Accountant collaborates cross-functionally to ensure consistency, accuracy, and transparency in all financial reporting activities.
Education/ Experience
Bachelor's Degree; Experience in gov't, commercial, or public accounting required.
Four (4) years of professional accounting or financial management experience.
