Position Summary
The Account Director’s primary goal is to drive significant client impact, advocacy, and revenue growth for Claritas. The Account Director will focus on generating new business as well as cross/upselling the current book of business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate relationships with executives at digital media companies, ad agencies, and advertisers.
- Expand our industry-leading customer base by cross-selling, upselling, executing strategic account plans, and fostering strong client relationships.
- Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Promote and drive adoption of our groundbreaking ad technology products.
- Lead execution of consultative sales activities from prospecting, presentation development and delivery, proposal development, and contracting
- Quickly become a trusted advisor on clients’ business issues and advertising/marketing strategies and needs
- Develop business plan to address client needs and achieve revenue target through the sales of integrated solutions and individual products
- Actively manage and grow client relationships both at tactical buyer/user level and senior levels
- Provide accurate and timely pipeline/forecast updates to management, review weekly with manager; ensure Salesforce is updated with client information
- Identify and grow contacts within existing client organization
- Work closely with product and support specialists and delivery teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction tasks
Qualifications
Skills, Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Proven track record of consistently surpassing sales quotas.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly connected and respected in the industry.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to think critically about client needs and develop internal solutions.
- Thrives as an independent contributor, comfortable making high-level decisions, and a strong team player.
- Strong sales experience, proven record of quota attainment, and strong command of sales processes, with a focus on Marketing, Digital, CRM, Direct Marketing, Agency, Advertising, or related field experience
- Understand Digital Marketing concepts and firm understanding of digital ecosystem
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail
- Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Highly preferred:
- Strong working knowledge of Claritas Segmentation and Core data assets
- Experience with Sales and Marketing automation tools and environments such as Salesforce
