Proposal Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of proposal development, including Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), RFPs, and interview preparation.
- Collaborate with firm leadership, technical staff, and marketing team to develop win strategies, compelling content, and ensure alignment with brand standards..
- Oversee proposal deadlines, resource allocation, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Mentor and guide proposal staff, providing feedback and professional development support.
- Partner with the Marketing Manager to align proposal efforts with broader marketing and branding strategies.
- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral, digital content, and event planning.
- Analyze proposal outcomes and implement process improvements to increase win rates and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in proposal management within the AEC industry.
- Must have above-average experience with executing competitive RFP/RFQ proposals
- Proven leadership experience in managing proposal teams or processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Passion for high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement.
