Status: Exempt
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 - depending on experience plus commission potential
Position Summary
At Parking Management Company (PMC), a leader in nationwide partner-focused parking solutions, you'll channel our hospitality-driven ethos as a Sales Development Associate. With relentless energy, you'll proactively hunt new business through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, personalized email sequences, and strategic networking. You'll qualify prospects, uncover pain points, deliver compelling virtual pitches of PMC Valet, PMC Stay, and PMC Pay while building a high-velocity pipeline that fuels revenue growth. Operating independently in a fast-paced environment with support from the operations team, you'll solve problems on the fly, adapt to shifting priorities, and ensure every prospect experiences PMC's signature hospitality from first contact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Relationship Building
Cultivate prospect relationships through personalized outreach, ensuring long-term engagement and referral potential.
Industry Engagement
Attend virtual/local events, webinars, and associations to expand network and represent PMC's innovation in parking technology.
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and engage high-potential accounts using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, intent data, and industry lists; initiate multi-touch sequences (calls, emails, video, social) to book qualified discovery meetings.
Consultative Sales & Solution Positioning
Leverage a consultative sales approach to deeply understand client needs, tailor solutions, and build long-term partnerships. Act as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying opportunities to add value and collaborating with clients to solve challenges and seize opportunities. Deliver concise, value-driven pitches and virtual demos of PMC Valet (real-time tracking, digital payments), PMC Stay (hotel self-parking), and PMC Pay (QR-code payments) tailored to hospitality, healthcare, and event verticals.
Pipeline Management
Log all activity in Salesforce with 80% accuracy; track progression from SAL to SQL, maintain data hygiene, and ensure timely follow-ups to keep pipeline velocity high.
Handoff Excellence
Transition SQLs to operations with complete context, recorded calls, and stakeholder maps.
Performance & Quota
Consistently hit or exceed monthly activity, meeting, and SQL quotas while contributing to team revenue attainment.
Problem-Solving
Overcome objections, navigate gatekeepers, and pivot messaging creatively to align with prospect priorities.
Flexible Task Support
Collaborate with Marketing for campaign launches and Operations to maximize value and effectively sell a handoff received from an operator.
Continuous Learning
Complete all required training, stay current on parking tech trends, and adopt best practices in outbound methodology. Share best practices and work collectively as a team to increase PMC's market penetration while leveraging local knowledge.
Additional Responsibilities
Other tasks may be assigned as needed to support the company's overall operational and financial objectives, with the expectation that management remains flexible and responsive to evolving business needs. Attend required staff meetings and complete assigned training modules in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Critical Skills / Expertise
- Sequence Mastery: Design and execute high-converting cold email, call, and LinkedIn cadences.
- Industry Intel: Understand PARCS, revenue control, valet operations, and digital payment trends.
- Objection Handling: Turn "not interested" or "not now" into scheduled meetings using consultative techniques.
- Tech Stack Fluency: Familiarity with PMC Valet, PMC Stay, PMC Pay, and competitive platforms.
- Negotiation Foundations: Comfortable discussing budgets, authority, and timelines to qualify effectively.
- Local Network: Ties to Nashville’s hospitality, healthcare, or real estate communities a plus.
Essential Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of B2B outbound prospecting or SDR experience (parking, hospitality, SaaS, or tech preferred).
- Proven ability to cold call and run multi-channel sequences with confidence and professionalism.
- Track record of booking 15 or more discovery meetings per month in prior roles.
- Agile mindset with the ability to adapt and evolve ways of working as business processes and systems continue to mature.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, or other similar data enhancement software.
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 80% within the assigned region to conduct in-person site visits, assess client properties, and capture accurate, timely information in Salesforce to support sales pipeline visibility.
Certificates and Licenses
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for this role, along with maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations within a three-year period. Candidates must also pass and maintain a clean background check. No special certifications are necessary for this position.
Work Environment
The work environment for this role includes both indoor and outdoor settings, requiring collaboration with teams, vendors, and clients on-site and in corporate environments. Associates may frequently use computers, communicate via phone, and perform duties in or around parking facilities. Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions—including extreme heat, cold, humidity, and wet environments—is expected.
Physical Demands
Requirements may include extended periods of standing, walking, and the ability to lift moderate weights when necessary. Specific vision abilities—close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustments—may be required to ensure on-site awareness and safety.
Cell Phone Use
Employees may be required to use personal cell phones for work-related communication, including coordination with team members, managers, and clients, as well as accessing work applications. Reimbursement for work-related phone usage will follow company policy.

Employee at Will
Employment with PMC is on an at-will basis, meaning either the employee or the employer may end the employment relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable laws. A 120-day introductory period applies.

This position is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning employees in this role are not eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek at a rate of one and one-half times their regular hourly rate. PMC adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local wage and overtime laws, ensuring that compensation complies with these legal standards. All hourly rates will meet or exceed the minimum wage requirements for your specific work location.
