JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Training - Attend job-related training sessions, including Defensive Driver Training. Develop knowledge and professional skills through cross training, literature and attendance at departmental meetings. Maintain currency in the field through continuing education, literature and seminars. Implement this knowledge into the department.

  • Shuttle - Periodically operate a Cincinnati Children's Shuttle Bus/vehicle in a safe and timely manner for repairs to be made or as a stand-by driver.

  • Maintenance and Cleaning - Perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleaning. Report related safety concerns to supervisor immediately.

  • Inspections and Compliance - Assist with annual State Bus Inspections and License renewals. Comply with all Department of Transportation Regulations involved within the Commercial Driver Licensure.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
