The AI Agentic Manager serves as the primary liaison between IT, business units, and executive leadership--ensuring AI solutions are ethical, effective, and aligned with Fabick Cat's strategic objectives, Caterpillar's digital vision, and our commitment to safety and excellence. This leader will combine strategic foresight with technical fluency, guiding both governance and innovation in the deployment of agentic AI systems.
- Develop and implement Fabick Cat's enterprise AI strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and Caterpillar Digital initiatives.
- Establish and oversee AI governance frameworks including model compliance, data security, ethical standards, and vendor management.
- Define and monitor KPIs for AI adoption, ROI, and business impact.
- Ensure responsible AI usage through transparent policies and continuous auditing.
- Design, deploy, and manage AI agents and automation systems that enhance decision-making, service delivery, and internal operations.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for AI-driven automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent process optimization across departments (Sales, Service, Parts, Safety, HR).
- Lead cross-functional AI projects, coordinating between developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and effective solutions.
- Partner with IT and business teams to integrate AI tools with enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.).
- Serve as the bridge between business and technology, translating operational needs into AI solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
- Guide business units in adopting generative and agentic AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI GPT models, and other LLM-based platforms.
- Provide change management leadership, ensuring user adoption, training, and ongoing support.
- Regularly present AI progress and outcomes to executive leadership, articulating business value and strategic direction.
- Mentor internal teams on AI technologies, governance best practices, and agent development.
- Collaborate with Caterpillar's digital partners to ensure Fabick Cat remains aligned with industry innovation and compliance standards.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and ethical AI use throughout the organization.
