Internship Details to Know


The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers a hands-on experience inside our rapidly growing multi-category fashion lifestyle brand. We value you. In our program, we are dedicated to shaping your unique interests and career aspirations, equipping you for success in your career and life.

 

Basics

  • The Kendra Scott Internship experience is a 9-week, paid program with the requirement to be in Austin, TX.  The internship will begin on June 1st and end July 30th. 
  • This is a full-time, 40/hour a week, in person opportunity.  This program will be offered at $17/hour.
  • Please apply to only one internship position that you are most interested in pursuing. 
  • Sponsorship and Relocation assistance is not currently provided.
  • The deadline for internship applications is November 23, 2025, at 11:59 pm PST.
  • Candidates will be informed of their status throughout our process, with final offers being extended in December 2025. 

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors Degree with an expected graduation date of May 2026, December 2026, or May 2027
  • A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
  • Reside within the vicinity of Kendra Scott HQ, Austin, TX, or have the ability to obtain housing during the internship (no relocation costs will be offered)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, OneDrive, and SharePoint

Position Overview   

The Merchandising Intern will report to the Fashion Jewelry Associate Merchant and positively represent the brand while creating cross functional partnerships as an interim member of the Merchandising team. The primary responsibility of the Merchandising Intern is to aid in the execution of merchandising product strategies and assortment plans, resulting in exciting and timely product assortments that will maximize sales, profits and support overall brand positioning. 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

Assortment Planning & Analysis: 

  • Assist in go-to-market preparation for the Fashion Jewelry & Color Bar categories, including calendar management, launch document content creation and marketing tools management.  

  • Support communication and distribution of all critical merchandising information to key functional areas on a timely basis 

  • Complete pricing analysis on Fashion Jewelry in the industry. Intern will dig into historical KS product selling and analyze price buckets, as well as research comparable brand to propose a new retail pricing strategy for implementation in 2027 development. Intern's proposal will be able to directly affect Spring 2027 finalization. 

  • Support in weekly, monthly, quarterly sales performance reports and ad hoc analysis 

 

Customer Research & Communication: 

  • Focus on developing customer intimacy skills through multiple store visits and competitive shopping with Merchandising team; present findings and trend analysis to inform execution strategies 

  • Complete competitive deep dive into white space opportunities in the Fashion Jewelry category to include actionable takeaways and risk/opportunity assessment from a trend, financial and brand perspective  

  • Implements plans to achieve departmental priorities
