Job Description
HBK is seeking a skilled HR and Accounting Manager to support both the Human Resources and Accounting functions. This role offers a blend of HR management and payroll responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded professional to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for various responsibilities within the Human Resources and Accounting areas, including benefits administration, employee on-boarding/off-boarding, employee relations, and payroll administration.
- Manage health and benefit plans.
- Lead employee onboarding.
- Manage the benefits open enrollment process.
- Counsel employees on benefits, and resolve issues related to health plans by liaising with brokers and carriers.
- Oversee payroll administration for US and Europe, ensuring compliance with tax obligations and legal requirements.
- Manage HRIS system for employee data, onboard new hires, and conduct orientation.
- Maintain and administer immigration programs, including visa processes and compliance.
- Handle employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving HR-related issues.
- Collect and analyze HR metrics and payroll data to support decision-making.
- Act as the primary HR contact in the absence of the global head of HR.

Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and judgement
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficient in other Office applications
- Strong analytical skills to assess and address problems effectively
- Project management skills, ability to balance multiple high-priority projects
- Knowledge of benefits plan design, payroll administration, and immigration matters and experience in employee relations is a plus
- Positive, engaging, and outgoing personality
