Position Purpose

Are you passionate about analytics, AI, and transforming data into actionable insights? GreenPath is seeking a creative and technically skilled Technical Data Analyst to drive smarter, faster decision-making. You’ll leverage Power BI and emerging AI technologies to build impactful dashboards, automate reporting, and uncover business improvement opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient, scalable solutions that shape a data-driven culture and elevate business performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build impactful Power BI dashboards and reports, integrating AI-driven insights.
  • Design interactive visuals for quick decision-making and predictive trend analysis.
  • Apply advanced Power BI techniques (DAX, SQL, custom visuals) for complex scenarios.
  • Automate manual reporting processes to improve scalability and reduce ad hoc requests.
  • Refine report designs post-deployment for enhanced usability and relevance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and AI opportunities.
  • Research and integrate internal/external data sources aligned with business goals.
  • Document high-quality requirements for analytics solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and prioritize projects.
  • Conduct deep analysis using structured/unstructured data for actionable insights.
  • Present data using intuitive visualizations, AI tools, and storytelling techniques.
  • Integrate data across systems to support segmentation, outreach, and strategic initiatives.
  • Leverage AI to automate tasks and drive innovative problem-solving.
  • Analyze helpdesk data to support operations and automate recurring reports.
  • Promote data literacy and foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Maintain and enhance the data catalog with AI-supported solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for ad hoc reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Proactively contribute innovative analytics ideas for operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related discipline preferred.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with large, complex datasets across multiple systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (DAX, Power Query, advanced dashboard development).
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL for report development and analysis.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or similar automation tools.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and techniques (Azure AI, Copilot, OpenAI APIs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with other data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
  • Strong documentation skills for data requirements, metadata, and reporting assets.

Skills & Characteristics

  • Advanced dashboard, report, and data model building in Power BI.
  • Strong command of DAX, SQL, and data modeling.
  • Experience applying AI tools to enhance analysis and automate tasks.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Skilled in designing intuitive, interactive visuals.
  • Capable of automating manual reporting and enabling scalable, self-service solutions.
  • Strong ability to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Effective collaboration with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Clear communication of technical findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Innovative, accuracy-focused, and eager to learn emerging technologies.

Working Conditions

  • Long periods of sitting while using a computer and office equipment.
  • Business hours with occasional on-call requirements (3–4 times/month).
  • Travel requirements: <10%.
