The Opportunity   

South Bow is seeking a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in Treasury and Finance. This position is ideal for students enrolled in a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration, or a related academic program.

As a valued member of the Treasury team, you’ll play a key role in supporting corporate finance activities and liquidity management. This hands-on experience offers exposure to cash forecasting and financial risk analysis - providing a solid foundation in treasury functions within a dynamic business environment. You’ll collaborate with seasoned professionals, build your network, and develop the technical and strategic skills essential for a career in treasury and finance.

•    Targeted to resume in May, 2026
•    This is a 4-month opportunity with potential for extension.  
•    Role is based in Calgary. 
  
What You Will Do 

•   Support the development of short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts
•    Contribute to the preparation of treasury reports and dashboards
•    Participate in internal controls testing and compliance reviews related to treasury operations
•    Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in treasury workflows
•    Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to support treasury-related inquiries and reporting needs
•    Engage with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and communicate progress updates effectively 

Minimum Qualifications  

•    Actively enrolled in a degree program in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related discipline, with a minimum of one completed semester 
•    Enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution 
•    International students must hold a valid study permit and provide a post-secondary work placement authorization letter 
•    Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety across both professional responsibilities and personal conduct 
•    Upholds and integrates South Bow's core values throughout daily work practices and organizational initiatives
