Role Overview
The role requires 1x per week travel to the office in Manchester (typically Tuesdays) although flexible working is in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their technical and interpersonal needs to hire Counter teams for specific projects.
- Proactively identify and attract Counter Consultants and Tech Leads through multiple channels, including writing job adverts, networking, and headhunting.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from identifying potential candidates and conducting first-stage screening interviews to supporting later interview stages and offer management, ensuring a streamlined, positive and professional candidate experience.
- Support the onboarding process for successful candidates, collaborating closely with HR and Finance teams.
- Work with internal Counter teams to promote positive external engagement and maintain strong client relationships.
- Build and maintain relationships with alumni networks, including Northcoders graduates and tech returner communities.
- Utilize recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Jobsite, and Pinpoint to identify and manage talent.
- Contribute to the wider Counter strategy of a growing Tech consultancy.
- Identify and introduce new business development opportunities to the Client Growth Lead.
- Support business development calls and networking initiatives.
- Represent Counter at local events and industry engagements to strengthen brand visibility.
- Track and manage the business development pipeline and related opportunities.
- Advertise external roles for Software and Data Engineering graduates using HubSpot CRM and internal job platforms.
- Engage with companies seeking to hire Northcoders graduates, understanding both their technical and professional requirements.
- Support the candidate shortlisting and matching process, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Engage with potential clients to explore business-to-business sales opportunities for privately funded training programmes.
- Engage with established clients to support local funding bids and partnership initiatives.
- Collaborate with the internal Careers Team to provide industry insights, mentorship, and career support to graduates transitioning from bootcamp to employment.
- Document and record all external offers to maintain accurate data tracking and reporting.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experienced in Talent acquisition or recruitment, managing the full lifecycle of recruitment from sourcing and screening to offer and onboarding.
- Strong stakeholder and client facing experience, understanding needs and managing expectations.
- Experience using recruitment and CRM/ATS tools such as Linkedin recruiter, indeed, Pinpoint, Hubspot.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Understanding of Tech roles or Tech recruitment.
