Job Description: "Programs are delivered in a holistic and culturally appropriate manner in various facilities and community locations. Coordinator works collaboratively with inter-professional teams across spectrum of care and is accountable for planning, quality monitoring and reporting. Coordinating, marketing, recruiting participants, facilitators, evaluating, collecting data and tracking of outcome measures is integral to program success. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Education

  • Dental Therapy diploma

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

  • Basic - Communication skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to interact in a positive and culturally appropriate manner 
  • Knowledge in population health promotion and its relationship to health status
  • Knowledge of current scientific info/research/best practice in oral health
  • Knowledge in population health promotion approaches and community development
  • Knowledge in oral health and overall health relationship
  • Ability to diagnose dental decay/abscesses and identify oral abnormalities

  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association (SDTA)
  • Ability and willingness work evenings/weekends as required
