We’re seeking a full-time Insurance Account Manager to join our growing team in the Beatrice, NE office. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail orientated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of one year of experience in personal and commercial lines insurance is required, along with a valid NE insurance license.
In this role, you’ll work behind the scenes to ensure policies remain current, assist with application completion, and provide quoting support for the Managing Agent – primarily focusing on commercial lines. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Role:
The Insurance Account Manager acts as the main point of contact for existing clients, handling day-to-day policy servicing, problem resolution, and renewals. This role works with personal clients and commercial clients, ensuring their needs are met by managing coverage issues, processing changes, and providing support for claims.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships and addressing customer questions and concerns.
- Handle day-to-day tasks such as policy changes, endorsements, billing issues, and providing proof of insurance documents such as certificates and ID cards.
- Assist with managing the renewal process for clients, including reviewing coverage, analyzing options, and ensuring the best terms are secured.
- Assist with and resolve any service issues or problems that arise for the client.
- Work closely with the Managing Agent and other team members to ensure clients are properly served.
- Promotes the insurance services and makes referrals to other departments.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Performance Management:
- Strong understanding of both personal and commercial insurance products and services.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are required to build and maintain client trust.
- Ensure all related forms and documents are completed and filed/scanned in a timely manner.
- Maintain and develop knowledge and skills in all Insurance products and processes.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education and/or Experience.
- High School Education or General Education Degree (GED).
- One to three years previous experience in insurance, customer service, or other related fields preferred.
- Experience with insurance management software and standard office software.
Interpersonal Skills.
- Strong marketing, sales and communication skills.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and work independently.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Licensure in Property/Casualty, others as needed. Willingness to test for additional licenses.

While performing this job the employee would occasionally be required to carry loads up to and including 24lbs. In an 8-hour day, the employee can expect to sit about 6 hours.
