You will be the Director, Forward Fuselage & Component Final Finish (CFF) Build Teams
Our team is responsible for leading structure build and systems integration for the F-35 Forward Fuselage; as well as, detail Component low observable final finish operations, delivering high quality hardware that meets the safety, affordability, quality, schedule and technical objectives of Lockheed Martin’s Production Operations strategy.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all direct touch and support personnel in the Forward Fuselage shop and the three low observable component finish shops, while integrating leadership, support functions and program management teams to achieve program commitments.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading the Forward Fuselage and CFF build teams, managing personnel, resources and day to day execution to meet safety, affordability, quality, and schedule commitments.
• Integrating leadership, support functions and PMTs within an Obeya methodology to execute program commitments and optimize build plans for Span, Hours, and Cost of Quality reductions in line with Production Operations strategies.
• Establishing a culture Problem Solvers that enables and embraces the Management Operating System, Continuous Improvement Framework, and Program Instruction command media.
• Facilitating a proactive, preventative mindset to develop, execute, and maintain Continuous Improvement and Quality Improvement roadmaps aligned with actively managed Risk & Opportunity registers.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications
• Leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing execution in difficult environments including; managing a represented workforce, high mix detail fabrication, high production volume, interrupted material supply, producibility and/or quality improvement roadmaps.
• Demonstrated technical and strategic leadership abilities to create value and exceed customer satisfaction.
Desired skills
• F-35 aircraft and 5th generation coatings knowledge and F35 Production Operations processes.
• Problem solving, root cause, corrective action and continuous improvement.
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Ability to manage, coach, train, and motivate team in technical, team building and leadership development.
