Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us in our Portland, ME facility as a Printing & Mail Machine Operator for the 6:30p-5:00a Monday-Thursday night shift. We offer competitive pay and a 10% shift differential for this shift. This fast-paced role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys the satisfaction of producing high-quality printed materials.
- Operate Canon laser, Riso inkjet, and Canon mono printing equipment (experience preferred)
 - Operate Laminating machine, Standard Die Cutter, and Cutter.
 - Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
 - Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
 - Set up and operate printing machines efficiently.
 - Monitor printing jobs for quality and accuracy.
 - Perform necessary adjustments to ensure consistent output.
 - Clean and maintain printing equipment.
 - Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
 - Work independently and as part of a team.
 - Continuously seek opportunities to improve work performance and learn new skills.
 
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience operating printing equipment (color and mono preferred)
 - Knowledge in Bindery, Die cutting, and Lamination.
 - Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
 - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
 - Proficient in basic computer and technology use
 - Ability to manage a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment.
 - Understanding of basic math, fractions, and percentages
 - Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and visual)
 - Self-directed and motivated with a desire to learn and grow
 - Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate with others.
 
Physical Requirements
- Able to frequently lift 10-20 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
 - Able to stand for extended periods (10-12 hours)
 - Able to bend, push, and pull carts.
