Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $151,600 - $241,800 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years clinical RN experience in an ambulatory oncology setting
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
- Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and self-development within the field of nursing and nursing administration
- Demonstrated skills to effectively supervise clinicians and to manage the complex workflow and multiple priorities involved with a clinic(s) / center(s). Strong knowledge of practice operations
- In depth knowledge of patient care clinical standards and care delivery, systems, external regulations and internal policies
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly analyze problems, determine appropriate level of intervention, and develop and apply effective solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaborations and problem solving with all levels of management and staff, consultants and outside agencies
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to train and mentor subordinates, to convey complex clinical and technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong leadership, fiscal and operations management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, management and staff from all disciplines. Ability to create and maintain a goal-oriented climate of teamwork, collaboration and consistent achievement of objectives
- Proven ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and delegate work functions efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card, OCN or other related certification
- Master's degree
- Two years supervisory or demonstrated leadership experience
- Experience using EPIC EMR systems
- Experience with QA/The Joint Commission process for quality improvement
- Knowledge of current and emerging best practices and technologies in the clinic / center healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of human resources management policies, with the ability to train, monitor, evaluate, and document human resources issues and performance, and to participate in decision-making on human resources matters
License/Certification
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
- Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
