We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager for our Information Technology department in Mumbai, India. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and contribute to the strategic direction of our IT initiatives while managing day-to-day operations.
- Assist in developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with organizational goals
 - Manage IT projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope
 - Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
 - Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems
 - Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions
 - Monitor and analyze system performance, recommending and implementing improvements
 - Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products
 - Ensure compliance with IT governance standards and data protection regulations
 - Develop and manage IT budgets, optimizing resource allocation
 - Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending adoptions when beneficial
 
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
 - 5+ years of experience in IT roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership position
 - Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, and security systems
 - Proven experience in project management and team leadership
 - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 - Experience in budgeting and resource allocation within an IT department
 - Proficiency in cloud computing platforms and data analysis
 - In-depth understanding of IT security best practices and implementation
 - Knowledge of IT governance and compliance standards
 - Familiarity with current IT trends and emerging technologies
 - Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are preferred
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
 - Strong decision-making skills and attention to detail
