The Impact You'll Make

Danfoss in Easley, SC is seeking an Assembler to manage the entire assembly process within a designated cell, from initial setup through final testing.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Load and unload valves into assembly fixtures. Transport valves to designated workstations. 

  • Ensure minimum production targets are met. Promptly inform the supervisor of any shortages in assembly supplies. 

  • Accurately interpret and follow instructions from engineering blueprints, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders. 

  • Operate assembly and torque tools effectively. Inspect defective valves and perform repairs to meet specifications. 

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. You should possess basic math skills and be able to read and write clearly. 

  • Must be capable of standing for long periods and repeatedly lifting to 50 lbs. good motor skills are essential. 

  • Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes is necessary. Experience with TPM and SMED techniques is preferred. 

  • Familiarity with quality and problem-solving tools such as PPAP, capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, and Fishbone diagrams is expected.
