The Laboratory Courier (LC) delivers supplies and reports to laboratory clients and picks up, transports and delivers routine and expedited specimens from the client sites to the laboratory. The Courier ensures that the quality of specimens is maintained throughout the transport process and keeps specimen-tracking logs. This position also functions as a liaison between Laboratory Client Service and staff at client sites. This individual is responsible for keeping the transport vehicle clean and orderly.
