The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Documentation Integrity Physician Educator is a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or Foreign Medical Graduate with a high level of clinical proficiency necessary to help in facilitating education and communication of Clinical Documentation Integrity concepts to our Physician Partners and Advanced Practitioners. Must have proven clinical background of at least 5 years or more in the acute care setting and at least 2 years of Clinical Documentation Integrity skills that will provide Clinical Documentation Integrity concepts and promote effective and efficient review of physician documentation that supports the patient's level of care and develop action plans for improvement in physician documentation and documentation practices. The Clinical Documentation Integrity Physician Educator will report directly to the Regional Clinical Documentation Director and will work extensively with CDI teams, physicians, Chief Medical Officers, Chief Financial Offers, Chief Nursing Officers, and Physician Advisors of the 9 facilities in the South Florida Division in a matrix relationship to provide continuing education and coordinate the efficient review and documentation capture of the underlying conditions that are supported by the physicians' secondary review of the patient record, upon request of the CDI Director and Vice President of Clinical Services. Works under general supervision and utilizes critical thinking skills. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Associate's of Nursing Nursing Degree (RN, BS, BSN, or advanced degree) or Foreign Medical Graduate
