 Title:                                    Technical Operations Intern

Scope:                                To support the biofilter rebuild and degassing project – as we rebuild the final biofilters in each OG, we need to monitor any improvement in water quality. This will                                                        require water sampling before the modifications are made for approximately two weeks, and then for a month after the modification per system.

Requirements:                    -Basic understanding of water quality parameters

                                             -Basic knowledge of excel

                                             -Ability to walk for an extended period

                                             -Organization

                                             -Time management

Educational Level:           College coursework in related field a plus

Experience:                       Not required to have field experience, lab experience is a plus. Training will be provided.

Activities:                          Collecting water samples and assisting with water quality lab needs throughout the project to improve biofiltration across the farm.

Work Load:                       12-18 hrs a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Schedule can be adjusted according to needs and workload.

Period:                               Two months, with flexibility to extend.

Compensation:                 $15/hr
