At The Hatch Group we’re a family-owned and operated company rooted in the construction industry, proudly building more than just projects — we’re building lasting relationships. With nearly 100 team members across our operations (depending on the season), we bring a culture of inclusion, empowerment, and community to everything we do.

Our team thrives in a group centered environment, where collaboration and hard work go hand in hand. Recently expanding our footprint with a new Florida office, we now serve clients throughout the eastern United States, continuing to grow while keeping our family values at the core of our success.

We are looking for a Director of the National Facility Maintenance Program who will be  responsible for building, leading, and scaling the company’s facility maintenance division across a national footprint. This includes full operational and financial ownership of service delivery for national clients — spanning asphalt and concrete maintenance, sealcoating, snow and ice management, landscaping, and general property repairs. This senior leadership role is accountable for P&L performance, sales growth, operational execution, and client retention. The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven leader with a strong background in construction or property maintenance services, national program development, and enterprise account management.

If you’re looking to join a company that values people as much as performance — where you can laugh, grow, and make a real impact — you’ll feel right at home here.

What you’ll do:

Program Leadership & Strategic Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive national facility maintenance program strategy that aligns with the company’s revenue and margin goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capture national and regional contracts.
  • Build scalable operational models and service standards across all territories.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and P&L performance for the division.

  • Oversee the execution of preventive and reactive maintenance programs across multiple service lines:
      • Asphalt & concrete repairs
      • Sealcoating & striping
      • Snow & ice management
      • Landscaping & exterior maintenance
      • Ancillary property repairs
  • Drive operational efficiency through scheduling, routing, and resource optimization.
  • Ensure consistent service quality and SLA compliance across all regions.
  • Implement field technology, dispatch platforms, and reporting systems for real-time visibility and accountability.

Sales & Business Development

  • Partner with executive leadership to drive revenue growth through national account expansion.
  • Lead the development of pricing models, national bids, and contract negotiations.
  • Support the sales team in securing multi-site, multi-state accounts.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key national clients.

Vendor & PartnerNetwork

  • Develop and manage a robust network of subcontractors and service partners nationwide.
  • Establish performance standards, pricing agreements, and compliance requirements.
  • Implement performance scorecards and regular business reviews to ensure quality and coverage.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Build, train, and lead a high-performing national facility maintenance team including program managers, dispatchers, account managers, and field support.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, safety, quality, and client experience.
  • Develop leadership bench strength and scalable team structures to support growth.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Own P&L for the national facility maintenance division, including revenue targets, gross margin performance, and expense control.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure operational and financial performance.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership on growth, performance, and risk mitigation.

You'll be a great fit:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field (MBA or equivalent experience preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in facility maintenance, paving, construction, or related industries, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.
  • Proven P&L ownership and experience driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of asphalt, concrete, landscaping, and snow operations.
  • National program or multi-site service delivery experience required.
  • Excellent leadership, financial acumen, and client relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in CMMS, CRM, and dispatch technology platforms.
  • Ability to travel as needed (25–40%).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k plans
  • PTO and paid holidays
  • Commission and bonus structure
