Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking Unit Readiness/Unit Deployment Management Support personnel to support the 67th Cyberspace Wing (67 CW) at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) – Lackland, TXUnited States citizenship and an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) are required to be considered for this position.

The contractor shall analyze Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Air Force Force Generation (AFFORGEN), and Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES) reports to prepare and present information to senior leadership. Presentations, documents, and products are due within five business days after assignment (A006). Report status of all required documents weekly until delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on Mission Essential Task List (METL) development, assessment methodology, and implementation in accordance with AFI 10-201, Force Readiness Reporting, MAJCOM supplements, and the Universal Joint Task List/Air Force Universal Task List.
  • Conduct monthly audits of 67 CW unit and Cyber Mission Force (CMF) team DRRS submissions, provide written statistics, and present analysis as directed (A001).
  • Gather, organize, and develop readiness focus areas for monthly presentations to 67 CW, NAF, and MAJCOM leadership (A001).
  • Provide training to newly assigned unit commanders and administrators within 67 CW and track their readiness-related DRRS documentation.
  • Analyze operational deficiencies and identify shortfalls or improvements within the readiness program and reporting processes (A006).
  • Conduct semi-annual Force Readiness/DRRS Wing-level self-inspections.
  • Maintain the 67 CW Force Readiness continuity binder and ensure compliance with AFI 10-201, paragraph 2.12, and MAJCOM guidance.
  • Provide quarterly sessions addressing deployment mobility, ancillary training, medical, and dental readiness to ensure Wing and Group staff personnel are prepared for deployment.
  • Interface with Installation Deployment Officers (IDO) and the Installation Personnel Readiness (IPR) office to execute Time-Phased Deployment Data (TPFDD) and deployment tasking requirements.
  • Assist in preparing Wing and Group staff personnel for deployment in compliance with AFI 10-401, Air Force Operations Planning and Execution, AFI 10-403, Deployment Planning and Execution, and local policies and instructions.
  • Conduct monthly audits of Ready Airmen Training (RAT) and Advanced Ready Training (ART) tracking systems for 67 CW personnel.
  • Track, report, and maintain deployment statistics for 67 CW personnel as directed.
  • Maintain the 67 CW Unit Deployment continuity binder and ensure compliance with AFI 10-401, AFI 10-403, paragraph 1.29.15, and local installation guidance.
  • Conduct semi-annual Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) program self-inspections to validate compliance with Air Force and local guidance.
  • Conduct monthly Unit Type Code (UTC) validation assessments using DCAPES.
  • Conduct semi-annual DCAPES program self-inspections and validate that all applicable UTCs align with assigned personnel.

Qualifications


Experience/Skills:

  • Supporting unit readiness, deployment operations, and reporting requirements for military or DoD environments.
  • Analyzing and preparing readiness and deployment data for senior leadership briefings.
  • Familiarity with DRRS, AFFORGEN, DCAPES, and associated Air Force instructions.
  • Coordinating training, inspections, and deployment requirements with installation-level offices.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills supporting readiness and deployment operations.

Clearance:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) required. 
  • Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check. 
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC's Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
