We are seeking individuals who desire to use their unique skills to innovate and make an impact.
The Admissions Representative at Parker University holds a blended position with duties and responsibilities within the areas of admissions, enrollment and recruitment. Representatives meet the enrollment objectives of the university by encouraging qualified prospective students to become students of Parker University. Representatives provide a positive, professional impression for guests, students and staff in person, on the phone, and via email.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Actively promote/communicate all programs offered at Parker University to prospective students.

Conduct personal interviews, telephone interviews and e-mail correspondence to identify student prospects to determine their educational needs, concerns and interests.

Responsible for guiding prospective students starting form inquiry through acceptance into Parker University.

Responsible for developing, managing and meeting action plans in order to obtain personal and departmental enrollment objectives.

Develop a rapport with prospective students and maintain contact with them frequently.

Use the customer relationship management (CRM) system to document all communication with the prospective student.

Enter and interpret data within a customer relationship management system;

Remain current on knowledge of university degree offerings and programs as well as Academic and Financial Aid policy changes.

Evaluate monthly activity against standards and personal inquiry goals.

Assist and participate in the planning of recruiting and enrollment events as needed
-
Ensure compliance with applicable University policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends, as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
EDUCATION/EXPERTISE:
-
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (HS required)
-
A minimum of one year of sales, recruiting, or interviewing experience, three years preferred
-
Experience communicating with diverse groups of people in person, by telephone and in writing
-
Experience with advisory roles in education, health and wellness, life coaching, or mediation
-
Experience with high-volume outbound calls, appointment scheduling, and managing of telephone, mail-in, and walk-in prospective students
-
Worked in or attended a university setting, a plus
-
Experience with internet-based leads, a plus
-
Bi-lingual, a plus
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/ETC:

Ability to remain flexible and easily adapt to changes in assignment.

Ability to coordinate and/or perform multiple tasks simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds;

Advanced technology skills, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook;

Ability to handle multiple tasks and due date pressures utilizing strong planning, organization and time management skills while generating a high level of quality work;

Ability to represent the university in a professional manner through appearance, attitude and positive interaction while adhering to ethical and confidentiality standards.

Self-starter, proactive problem-solver, energetic, team player;

Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends, as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Visual acuity to use a keyboard and view a computer terminal. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.

May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand and walk.

Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or move light to medium weight up to twelve (12) pounds and/or exert up to twelve (12) pounds of force.
