Below are the preferred skills, duties, and responsibilities you will perform as our Range Technician.
Position Summary:
The Range Technician will safely and effectively perform function, accuracy, and proof testing of weapons inside the range.
Minimum Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and job stations.
Computer literacy at a level of competence to use Microsoft Office
Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
Knowledge of how firearms function and ability to troubleshoot failure modes.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintaining a safe and clean work area
General maintenance of fixtures and range traps
Service and upkeep of equipment in the range to include preventative maintenance.
Testing of all firearms and firearm components produced at LMT.
Ensure employees or visitors entering the range wear the proper PPE and have been through and understand the range safety protocols.
Ensure quality and function of products is met.
Maintain performance within rate standards.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Daily inspections of range and trap equipment.
Performs daily housekeeping of LMT’s Range, trap house, and fixtures used.
Performs daily inspections of test systems and fixtures prior to use.
Performs function, accuracy, and proof testing of LMT weapon systems.
Other duties assigned by the Range Lead or Assembly Supervisor
