Position Summary: A Repair Technician maintains the pristine condition of the Rental equipment from each location to ensure an excellent customer experience. Our tuning shop also takes in customer requests and offers tuning products available to customers to help amplify their experience of their own equipment. It is a repair technician’s duty to assess the work that needs to be done on each piece of equipment, provide a cost estimate and a time frame for completion. Providing communication to the guest on all available options is an essential job function. This position requires one to be detail oriented, organized, and methodical about tasks. This person must be proficient with the application of P-Tex, ski mounting, Epoxy, waxing and base welding. An ideal applicant for this position would have experience with POS systems, customer service in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, organization, and communication.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Ensures a positive customer service experience and provides premium guest service.
Promote all Eldora tuning and rental products, policies, and procedures.
Helps facilitate organization of incoming and outgoing tuning customers.
Ensures quality of services provided with skill and tuning technique.
Prior experience working in a tune shop required.
Previous customer service experience required.
Experience using large machinery and power tools.
Must have experience using POS.
Upholds safety standards and practices safe working habits within OSHA standards.
Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.

This includes choosing alternative transportation, carpooling, using the employee shuttle, and avoiding onsite parking on weekends and peak days. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
Specific Job Skills:
2+ Years of experience working in a tune shop preferred.
Experience using automated machinery required.
Experience of proper handling of sharp objects, power tools and torch required.
Experience upholding OSHA safety standards required.

Schedule:
Non-Peak Days (M-F): 7:45am-4:30pm
Peak Days (Sa/Sun/Holidays): 7:15am-4:30pm
This schedule represents an average work week and is subject to change based on guest volume, operational needs, and weather conditions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $20+ actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. Additionally, this position accumulates sick time.
