We are seeking a strategic and experienced Technology Leader to drive the overall direction, development, and execution of the company’s technology related initiatives. In addition, this role will be responsible for directly overseeing the Program Management Office, responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, and implementing best practices in project and program management. The role requires an experienced hands-on leader with a broad understanding of insurance operations capable of leading teams, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

The primary focus of this role is driving direct-to-consumer and affinity growth through digital channels in AGIA, an established, but growing insurance and benefits marketing partner to some of the largest and most iconic associations and organizations in the country. This role will expand over time to drive growth in the consumer vertical more broadly

Strategic Leadership:
- Align IT strategy with group business priorities, acting as a partner to executives and field operations teams.
- Collaborate across departments to deliver analytics solutions and user enablement strategies.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that enhance business capabilities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support growth and digital transformation initiatives.
Alignment with DOXA Corporate IT:
- Work closely with DOXA Corporate IT leadership to drive adoption of corporate IT strategies within the Business Unit and elevate as needed:
- Alignment with DOXA Corporate IT goals, standards, vision and strategy
- IT operations and infrastructure, including systems administration, networking….
- Enterprise and solution architecture
- Cloud architecture
- Cybersecurity
- Data governance / warehouse and reporting technologies
Business Unit Execution & Risk Management:
- Execute the IT roadmap with a focus on scalability, automation, and digital transformation
- Ensure strong data security, governance, and disaster recovery practices are in place.
- Oversee application development and integration efforts with an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Oversee delivery of enterprise-wide projects and programs
- Ensure consistency and quality in project planning, execution, reporting, and documentation.
- Lead adoption of standard project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) suitable for insurance-related initiatives.
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including stage gates, tollgates, and reporting structures.
- Monitor program health, KPIs, and budget adherence across all initiatives in the portfolio.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of technical projects.
- Drive improved resource utilization and project ROI.
- Manage vendor relationships and technology budget.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and innovation.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of staff
- Develop capability through training, coaching, and performance management.
- Collaborate with resource managers to allocate personnel across projects effectively.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in various leadership roles in a mid to larger size organization.
- Proven experience leading and scaling teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of insurance business functions (e.g., underwriting, claims, reinsurance, actuarial, customer service).
Preferred:
- Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with data analytics, AI/ML, or automation technologies.
- Experience with JIRA or similar ticket management tools.
Work Location & Flexibility
This position is designed as a hybrid role, with regular workdays both in our office and remotely. For exceptional candidates who are not located near an office, we are open to a fully remote arrangement. In such cases, increased travel to our office and other key locations will be expected to support collaboration and team engagement.

Salary Description
$200,000-$250,000 + Profit Share Bonus
