Wood are seeking a Senior Underground Designer on an initial 4 month contract to work on a technically complex middle eastern project based from our Reading office. The role will require you to be based in the office 4 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Execution and oversight of Civil Design requirements
- Experience of earthworks modelling including InRoads or Openroads
- Provision of quantification input as required
- Production of all associated project design deliverables
- Checking and review work undertaken by other execution offices and third party entities
- Support to the Lead Civil Engineer as required
- Effective coordination of all elements within the project
- Maintain effective dialogue with other Project Engineers, Delivery Team leader, Engineering manager
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering with experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Power / Plant Projects.
- Knowledge in 2D and 3D drafting Bentley Microstation V8i
- S3D Modelling experience
- Working knowledge of OpenRoads and/or Windes (Microdrainage) would be considered an advantage
