Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a highly motivated Billing Adjustments Specialist to join our Records Management (RM) Billing Adjustments team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating Credit and Debit Memos to accommodate corrections due to erroneous billing, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction. The RM Billing Adjustments team is essential for processing invoice adjustments (debits, credits, and re-bills) to correct incorrectly billed orders and transaction lines for our customers.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
Process and Validate Adjustments: Create and post Credit and Debit Memos for erroneous billing , perform invoice adjustments in SKP , and ensure a peer audit is completed for low-criticality adjustment requests before posting.
Collaborate and Investigate: Research and analyze complex billing-related issues, understand the root cause before processing adjustments , and interact with internal cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide complete customer satisfaction.
Ensure Compliance and Quality: Uphold division policies and procedures , provide daily support to internal and external customers , and execute transactions to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) and quality standards.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong System Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook , along with excellent keyboarding skills for speed and accuracy of data input.
Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal (oral) and written communication skills, coupled with sound reading comprehension, particularly for emails.
Proven Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated capability for problem resolution, strong attention to detail, and the ability to think strategically while acting tactically.
Adaptability and Work Ethic: The flexibility to adapt well to change and handle various tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, while exhibiting a positive approach and a high energy level.
