Global Ocean Freight Product Development (GOPD) is responsible in delivering consistent best in class product offering for CEVA, in line with the Global Ocean freight strategy, focusing on market share growth, network operations, carrier procurement excellence and profitability with strong customer engagement to deliver the Ocean Freight budget.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Global Ocean Product Development (GOPD) team members will be driving the agreed strategy for the Global Strategic customers under different customer segment, sectors and trade routes
- GOPD team members have responsibility to strategize, deliver solution & pricing support through the GTM organization for identified Global & Regional bids
- GOPD team members are the extended arm of Global Ocean Product into the Regions working closely with the Regional OPDs
GOPD team members are aligned with various BD segments (Century, Elite etc.) to support strategic growth plan of the segment and sectors in Ocean freight. - GOPD team members will support design, development and delivery of new product solutions to specific sectors and markets and own specific trade routes from Ocean Product perspective in achieve the target for the year
• Degree / Master’s or equivalent in a related discipline
• Senior experience (+8-10 years minimum) in commercial and operational roles in Ocean Freight business (Product/Commercial BD/Tender Management). Global and regional knowledge of Ocean Freight market. Strong external and internal networks. Experience of operating in a global, matrix business environment.
• Strong commercial mindset and good product knowledge.
• Excellent analytical skills & negotiation experience
• Understanding of the network and business of Ocean freight worldwide.
Desirable
- Financial qualification
- 8-10 years’ experience in the freight industry
- In-depth market knowledge
- Previous trade lane management experience in top tier of global LSP’s
- P&L experience useful
- Additional languages useful but not essential
