The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for IT Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and will also oversee Application Security of RHA and its affiliates.  Additional responsibilities include active monitoring of RHA’s on premise and cloud based infrastructure and participation in projects designed to implement security technologies.  The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s Email Security, Anti-Virus, Cybersecurity Risk Management, and Data Security platforms.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support internal and external audits to ensure our security standards are being met by reviewing documents, tickets, and other related items.
  • Identify potential vulnerabilities in RHA’s Azure and Office 365 tenants and create new policies and procedures to address these issues as needed.
  • Monitor computer networks and systems for threats and security breaches.
  • Prepare and assures the implementation of cyber security policies and procedures, conducts investigations of unusual incidents involving cyber security issues.
  • Provide log/network/malware/device analysis and makes recommendations for remediation of security vulnerability conditions. Perform periodic vulnerability assessments and confirmation of Internet facing assets using commercial, open source, and custom tools.
  • Maintain Cyber Security project metrics and performance.
  • Ensure IT organizational assets are properly patched and secured against potential exploitable vulnerabilities.  This includes servers, workstations, applications, and network devices.
  • Will assist with the administration and maintenance of security infrastructure as needed.
  • Support Service Desk and Technical support team with projects and daily problem resolution with regards to security incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related technical degree preferred).
  • Master’s degree preferred (Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related technical degree preferred).
  • IT Security certification(s) preferred.
  • Must have strong leadership and management skills with proven ability to develop and communicate progress and vision of future state.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and build relationships with all levels of management/employees.
  • A minimum of three (3) years cyber security experience is required.

  • Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
  • Drug testing
  • Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
  • Proof of employment history or references (if required)
  • Positions that require driving Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
