Performs a variety of administrative, technical and supervisory work related to fire inspection and prevention such as schedules, supervises and conducts inspections of existing structures, construction and remodel sites for compliance with fire codes; resolves compliance problems within scope of knowledge and authority; reviews construction plans; and conducts fire drills. This position requires contact with representatives of local, state and federal agencies, including the City of Philadelphia, The Joint Commission, the PA Department of Health, and the public.
