Purpose
Support the Company with new location buildout, relocation buildout, rebranding, and location closures. Lead a team of Construction Managers
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets. This includes resource allocation and risk management. Understand how to develop detailed project plans, including Gantt charts and critical path methods
Team Management: Lead and coordinate the work of internal Construction Managers, external construction workers, subcontractors, and other professionals involved in the project
Liaison Work: Act as the main point between clients, architects, GC, and other stakeholders. Ensure clear communication and address any issues that arise
Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures, ensure the project stays within budget, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. Best practices for managing project budgets, including cost estimation and financial reporting
Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and adheres to building codes and regulations. Strategize for maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process
Safety Compliance: Implement and oversee health and safety protocols on the construction site to ensure the safety of all workers
Progress Monitoring: Regularly review progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays that may occur during the construction process
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in project management software
Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field
10+ years of experience in the construction industry
