Senior Account Manager - Healthcare Exhibits
The Senior Account Manager supports the Vice President, Client Services, in providing a high level of strategic direction and client satisfaction to key accounts.
What you will do:
- Develop and manage new business and profitability
- Manage and mentor Client Services team by setting a positive example and providing adequate training opportunities
- Collaborate with creative department and outside resources to develop compelling RFP presentations that are on strategy, on time and on budget
- Seek new revenue opportunities
- Grow and retain current client base
- Increase profitability and client satisfaction
- Maintains a working knowledge of internal and external industry trends and business influencers to advise business decisions
- Manage the development of strategic account staffing and communication plans with account teams
- Attend client events to ensure high client satisfaction levels
- Ensure the establishment of multiple contacts and levels of contacts at client accounts
- Continually develop, source, and pursue new business opportunities and contacts; meet with prospects and clients to assist in conducting capabilities presentations
- Communicate the status of business development initiatives with internal stakeholders
- Stay current with industry trends to ensure we are innovating; champion and promote industry and company best-practices
- Facilitate timely client payments, working with A/R on invoice collection
- Assist finance department in implementing Master Service Agreements for key clients
- Communicate new initiatives, policies and procedures to the Client Services team
- Support the Client Services team in development of project budgets, and proactively managing internal client resources to meet overall account revenue goals
- Work closely with production department to ensure progress and quality of projects
- Work with Event Services teams to manage vendor relationships
- Analyze client input, together with background knowledge, research, field feedback, etc., to develop communication plans
- Perform administrative tasks related to travel, expense and time off approvals

- Minimum of ten (10) years of healthcare experience in the Exhibit Industry
- Demonstrated success in a multidisciplinary, deadline-driven team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to think and act creatively, as well as analytically
- Ability to understand and articulate key product and corporate messages
- Excellent communication skills, ability to write and present persuasively
- Strong working knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis techniques
- Ability to travel to client sites and events as needed
