This position is an integral member of the finance leadership team, leading revenue rebate operations and government pricing compliance for the Company’s US Pharmaceuticals revenue operations. This role is responsible for leading the Government Pricing & Contract Compliance team, Commercial Contracts & Rebates Operations team and serving as the finance owner of the Model N Flex Revenue Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance and manage all government programs and pricing calculations and related reporting
- Manage government pricing calculations with direct oversight of an internal and outsourced BPO services team by owning the review and submission of quarterly and annual Non-FAMP, FSS, and FCP pricing
- Own administrative requirements associated with the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract including, submission of modification paperwork for new products, temporary price reductions, NDC changes, terminations and deletions, and new contract solicitation. Partner with and oversee the BPO services team to complete/submit workbooks and track execution.
- Maintain policy updates as required for business and/or regulatory changes, remain current and research regulatory changes or proposed changes to determine whether changes will impact the business. Work with internal and external counsel to establish and document policy position for the company.
- Facilitate payment of quarterly/annual TRICARE, MDP, BPD (US Pharma) fee, and Medicaid invoices in accordance with the approval matrix. Validate, process and pay final invoices by the required due dates and coordinate payments dates with Treasury for cash flow forecasts.
- Lead and develop the commercial contracts and rebate operations team responsible to perform contract maintenance for commercial and Medicare Part D contracts, including the review and approval of rebate claims data and invoices.
- Manage the commercial rebates team in the maintenance of contract information, processing of formulary validations and exclusions, and payment reconciliations.
- Maintain data related to contract rebate exclusions. Supervise the resolution and recovery of contract exclusions with communication to key business partners, including Market Access, GTN Accounting, and FP&A
- Serve as the functional finance lead for the Model N Revenue Management Software by assisting with user provisioning / training and partnering with IT in the management and maintenance of the software, including implementation of updates, enhancements and UAT requirements
- Partner with Market Access, Commercial FP&A, and GTN Accounting teams in
- The development of financial plans and forecasts as it relates to GTN deductions
- Review and analysis of the impact of proposed contract strategies and price changes on net pricing, related to government, managed care contracts and Medicate Part D contracts
- Solution development and process implementation for IRA compliance for Maximum Fair Price (MFP) Effectuation for a selected drug and system readiness related for 2027
- Maintain a strong controls and compliance environment including the maintenance of the risk control matrix, audit support, and the periodic SOX sub-certification.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Lead and/or support special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline required
- 8-10 years of contract rebate operations and finance experience
- Ability to develop, maintain and/or evaluate models for calculating and forecasting gross-to-net deductions
- Experience with Model N Flex preferred
- Experience managing BPO services teams or similar outsourced functions
- Interested candidates must possess high ethical standards, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong technical skills and flexibility in handling changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Ability to think strategically, work independently and interact with senior leadership
The range of starting base pay for this role is 166K-228K. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
