Do you have a passion for team leadership and member engagement? We’re seeking a Regional Manager to lead operations within our Region 5 area, ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence, and branch growth. As a Regional Manager, you’ll be a driving force in aligning our branches with organizational goals while fostering an environment that reflects our SPARKLE values.
Position will cover the following branch locations: Evergreen, Andalusia, Opp, Elba, Enterprise, Daleville, and Fort Rucker.
ROLE:
This position is responsible for the human resource, sales and service functions of branches that are assigned to the position. This responsibility is primarily focused on performance management, sales, goal attainment, consistent teamwork, positive morale, member and associate satisfaction, quality service, market awareness, and growth of the offices within the designated region.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: |
- Coaches, directs, develops, motivates, hires and disciplines branch personnel; administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions. - Oversee the Credit Union’s branch growth and service to assigned region. - Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attends scheduled management meetings. - Assist branch managers in external and internal business development efforts for member growth and community awareness. - Enhance sales skills of branch staff in a consultative sales approach to deepen member relationships and assist branch manager with coaching staff. - Regularly monitor branch operation logs and performance for consistency throughout all branches. - Monitor operations and branch sales, service, and procedural accountability to ensure continuing compliance. - Branch office support of new products and services; knowledge, ability to effectively present to members. - Assist in the development and implantation of branch strategic plans. - Travel required for position up to 85%. -Performs other related duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
Experience: Five years to seven years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) a bachelor’s degree in business or (2) A two-year college degree or (3) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (4) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program or (5) Prior experience with another financial institution.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating, influencing, or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Other Skills: Knowledge of BSA/OFAC compliance and be able to assist members and employees with questions concerning BSA. Complete yearly training.
