Lockheed Martin is looking for high-performing engineering students interested in developing their skills through a summer internship at the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area in Lufkin, Texas.
At Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, we're taking innovation to the next level through automation and digital transformation. Implementation of new state of the art processing equipment and software has our Lufkin facility setting the new standard for processing electronic hardware with real time data feedback. These electronics are top tier assemblies for the United States missile defense programs and are increasing in demand. Intern will assist Manufacturing Engineering and Automated Processing teams in new automated equipment implementation, discovering and implementing methods improvements, creating work instructions, and mistake-proofing projects in support of the manufacture of Mil-Spec electronics. Candidate must have interest and aptitude in Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering disciplines. Position involves exposure to automated equipment, processes, and software for fabrication of complex circuit card assemblies and wire harness assemblies.
