Charter Wire is hiring a Finance & Accounting Intern!

Program Structure:

• Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months.
• Location: Onsite
• Start Date: January 2026

What We’re Looking For:

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail oriented, accurate, and reliable with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Accounting or Finance major with multiple courses completed toward the major.
• Advanced Excel skills,
• Prior experience or coursework involving Oracle systems or data visualization tools.

What You’ll Focus On:

• Assist with month-end close processes.
• Perform spend analysis and generate financial and operational reports.
• Provide day-to-day support to Charter Wire's Finance function.
• Develop a broad understanding of accounting and financial processes.
• Participate in and support Continuous Improvement projects.
• Document and enhance existing finance and accounting processes.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned and expand financial and accounting knowledge.
