Sr. Manager Financial Services chez Temple Health

Responsible for day-to-day operations of Financial Services departments. Ensures the Financial Clearance, Financial Counseling and Preregistration processes are being performed timely, efficiently and accurately. Maintains an efficient operation that obtains and verifies all Third Party coverage and utilizes alternative means for obtaining coverage for uninsured and underinsured patients. Develops policies and procedures. Interacts with outside vendors and handles issues of a sensitive and confidential nature with patients and families. Participates in the on-call schedule for financial clearance issues; makes appropriate decisions and actions in place of the department Director when needed.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Required or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience
5 years experience in management overseeing financial counseling, patient access and/or related hospital billing Required
General Experience and knowledge of hospital billing / registration systems Required
General Experience and knowledge of third party reimbursement and eligibility processes and regulations Required
