Purpose of Position
This position is responsible for working directly with the NetJets internal business units to identify, define, document, and prioritize requirements of information systems of various size and complexity. This position will lead and/or assists with project scoping and business process reengineering. Acts as a liaison between assigned business units and Information Technology, to improve communication and accessibility of the department. This position will mentor team members internal and external to the team.
Standards: Expected to develop and maintain standards and processes applicable to the analysis and documentation required of the business analyst group. This would include contributing to development lifecycle process improvements as well as processes and documentation more specific to analysis activities.
Business Process Analysis: Identifies the businesses strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement. Expected to understand and recommend modifications to business processes addressing complex business issues as the business and systems evolve.
Coaching: Will mentor and coach junior employees. Required to review and provide feedback on junior employees' specifications, requirements and process flows.
Travel & Work Hours: Occasional travel (domestic or international) between operating companies may be required. Occasional work during non-standard hours may be required.
Methodology: Expected to operate within Agile methodologies and evangelize scrum methods and learnings across the BA team

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis, documentation, and communication, for technology projects with local, remote, and/or offshore teams. Leadership and development support for those projects, as needed.
- Scoping and estimation for new business project requests from any operating company / business unit.
- Liaison between IT and assigned business units for the purpose of disseminating information from IT related information to the departments and managing the business changes associated with relasing new information technology solutions to the business.
- Collaboration with other business analysts and project team members across the department and on other projects to share knowledge and experience that can be leveraged for cross project purposes or for improvement in the business analysis process in general.

- Experience requirements for an internal candidate would be 3-5 yrs in the business even if the candidate may not have any experience in an IT role.
- Requires strong ability to balance competing needs and priorities, and to stay focused on the priorities of the overall NetJets business. Requires strong oral and written communication skills, people skills, presentation skills, facilitation skills, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures. Ability to assess and prioritize the customers’ needs and root problems. Ability to facilitate meetings between analysts and individuals from within the business. Ability to closely manage others’ expectations, inside and outside of TS.
- All of the above, plus: Experience with standard software development project management processes (SDLC,waterfall, RUP, agile, etc.), and with standard analysis and documentation techniques (use cases, business rules, process diagrams, etc.). Experience in use case analysis and modeling, and other industry best practices.
- Experience with project proposal scoping, estimation, and cost/benefit analysis.
Base Salary Range
$61,500 - $136,500
