Join a fast-paced, operations-focused team for a hands-on internship that delivers real impact. As a CI Intern, you’ll support and own projects that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance visibility across key manufacturing systems and workflows.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate on and lead scoped projects aligned with Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.
- Assist with implementation and auditing of 5S+S programs, including PDCA cycles and visual management.
- Support Kaizen events by gathering data, participating in root cause analysis, and presenting findings.
- Investigate operational issues and implement sustainable resolutions using RCCM methodology and A3 reports, in close collaboration with CI and Operations teams.
- Build or enhance visual management dashboards (e.g., for takt time, OEE, or operator utilization).
- Present progress and insights to site leadership at regular intervals.
