FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Private School and Church in Nashville, TN.
Compensation: $25 per hour

Position Summary
The Site Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional campus environment. This hands-on position supports both day-to-day maintenance and event setup, requiring a dependable, service-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and building/site components.
- Execute tasks such as wall repairs, painting, pressure washing, changing light bulbs, filter changes, and unclogging toilets.
- Conduct routine inspections, including fire extinguishers, light tests, emergency lights, lavatories, and plumbing systems.
- Respond to maintenance requests from building occupants and input data into the work order system.
- Assist with event setups and respond to customer needs.
- Support grounds maintenance as required.
- Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
- Complete daily digital timesheets and work orders using a web-based program
Schedule
- 40 hours per week; Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (including the 30-minute unpaid break)
- Must be flexible to work occasional nights, weekends, and overtime for special events
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- A high school diploma or a GED is required
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in general facility maintenance or related field
- Basic knowledge of maintenance trades: plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
- Must pass a TBI background check for work on educational campuses
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs intermittently
- Able to bend, twist, reach, and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to working in a smoke-free environment
