Maintenance Technician (7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00 am)
Who we are looking for:
We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to be based out of Tampa, FL. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining production and quality standards by ensuring the continuous operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
What you'll do:
- Maintain and repair equipment used to manufacture, package, and convey PVC conduit
- Modify equipment to aid and improve the manufacturing process
- Ensure safe and operable condition of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing PM requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines per manufacturer's instructions
- Assist in all aspects of installation, modification, maintenance and repair or plant manufacturing equipment and systems
- Perform maintenance on building and grounds
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions to troubleshoot malfunctions
- Control downtime by informing Production team of routine preventative maintenance requirements
What you'll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical and electrical skill set
- 1-3 years experience performing electrical/mechanical maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift 50 pound unassisted
- Experience with installation of machinery and equipment in a light industrial environment
Within 3 months, you'll:
- Completed all required training
- Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $25.50 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
