POSITION SUMMARY
The 1:1 DSP for the Day Program is responsible for performing the skills, training activities or services to assigned client in a safe, effective, healthful and respectful manner.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Responsible for direct client care. Duties include but are not limited to; toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing etc.
• Perform skill training activities or service provisions in a safe, effective, respectful and healthful manner as outlined in each client's Individual Plan (IP).
• Supervise clients' performance of work on sub-contract work assignments, if applicable.
• Observe assigned program clients' behaviors and interactions.
• Work with client on goal achievement.
• Ensure assigned client needs are being met as required.
• Administer medications and first aid, as needed, per program and/or client requirements.
• Respect the privacy, confidentiality and property of clients.
• Maintains ethical and professional boundaries.
• Keeps and maintains appropriate and required records.
• Understands and follows appropriate policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
• When an outing is scheduled, transports clients in agency or personal vehicle, as needed.
• Completes all required trainings on or before expiration or due date.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Experience: No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills: Evolv, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
Certifications &
Licenses: Must obtain DSP Certification within 90 days of hire or transfer.
Other Requirements: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Ability to use Phone, Fax, Copier, file required.
